The Pinch of Poverty

S- A mother and her three children living in poverty.
N- A man that came from poverty.
A- People from a higher class.
P- To evoke sympathy for those living in poverty.

Art Techniques:
1. The artist used contrast with the bright, yellow flowers against the dark background. The flowers symbolize hope.
2. The angle of the painting is not from above, but rather straight on. The artist did this to not show that those in poverty are below others, but rather to emphasize equality.
